South Africa Missions Trip (April 11, 2009-Dec. 2nd, 2009)
Trip Details
I spent 8 months volunteering with my parents with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) in Potchefstroom, South Africa. The purpose of CEF is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God and establish them in a Bible believing church for Christian living.
My role was to support my parents by, teaching Good News Clubs, teaching in the Servant Leader in Action program, mentoring Servant Leader in Action students, further developing camper game and activity books for Camp Good News, participating in camp training programs, and running two Camp Good News camps as the Program Director.
